R32 Flammable Refrigerant Leak Detector for Evikon E2610-HFC-NC Heat Pumps

The gas concentration detection sensor (gas detector) is used for detection and early warning of a dangerous (explosive) concentration of the sensed refrigerant. The sensor is suitable for detecting refrigerant leaks from cooling devices, air conditioners and heat pumps.

The sensor is equipped with two-stage signaling - visual (LED) and sound (85db) . Two output relays with changeover contact can be used for remote signaling or ventilation control. The set switching points are: Relay1= 200ppm , Relay2= 500ppm .

Initial calibration

A temperature-compensated, durable semiconductor sensor is used for sensing. The service life of the sensor is more than 5 years. The sensor is non-selective = calibrated to R32 -> responds to other refrigerants (R-12, R-123, R-125, R-134a, R-143, R-22, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R1234yf and others), flammable gases, vapors from solvents and cleaning agents. The recommended coverage area with one sensor is 80-120 m ² , 5-6 m radius .

Each sensor is factory calibrated and the calibration protocol in AJ is included in the package.

Test button

The detector is equipped with a test button that starts self-diagnostics of the sensor. Diagnostics checks the electrical response of the sensor and after 64 seconds the device measures stably again. Diagnostics does not turn on the relay.
