Thermoelectric actuator Siemens SSA911.02ZB from the Connected Home heating ecosystem. A new version replacing the thermoelectric actuator SSA911.01ZB.

The thermoelectric actuator SSA911.02ZB is part of the Siemens Connected Home automation system for smart heating. It is designed to control thermostatic valves with a connection thread of M30x1.5 mm and regulates the amount of water passing through the heating circuit or radiator, thus directly controlling the room temperature.

The thermostatic head is wireless and powered by two 1.5 V AA batteries. It is easy to install and connect via ZigBee 3.0 with the GTW100ZB router. Up to 32 control actuators can be connected to one ZigBee router, and for adding more heads, another router or the RCR110.2ZB switching unit can be used as a signal repeater. The entire Siemens smart heating system can then be easily controlled from the Connected Home mobile app. The SSA911.02ZB actuator also allows for manual temperature adjustment using touch buttons. The energy-saving display clearly shows settings and additional details such as the desired temperature, battery status, or alert messages.

The Siemens Connected Home smart heating system is developed for heating residential and commercial buildings. The thermoelectric actuators SSA911.02ZB can be used with or without heat source switching, making them suitable as a smart heating solution for district heating.

The heads have an integrated PI controller to maintain a constant radiator temperature, a temperature sensor, a window open detection function, frost protection, and a child safety lock.

The package includes 2 AA batteries, adapters for Danfoss RA, RAV, RAVL valves, and screws for their attachment. If you need to connect the head to a radiator valve other than M30x1.5 or Danfoss RA/RAV/RAVL, use one of the adapters/reductions for radiator valves. Our article from the advice section can help you choose the right reduction: How to choose the right reduction for radiator heads?

Main Features

  • wireless control actuator for heating regulation
  • possibility to connect to a ZigBee router and switching unit
  • battery-powered by standard 1.5 V AA cells
  • mounting on radiator valves with a connection thread of M30x1.5 mm
  • nominal stroke 5 mm
  • force for valve control 90 N
  • automatic adaptation to the valve
  • possibility of manual temperature adjustment

The actuator can also be set manually. This is done using two buttons located on the body of the actuator and an LCD display, which clearly shows both the settings and alert messages and more. The "down" arrow decreases the set temperature, while the "up" arrow increases it. Pressing and holding both simultaneously for 3 seconds locks or unlocks the control arrows.

Hallo de kop moet voldoende worden vastgedraaid en de aanpassing moet opnieuw worden gedaan. Als je een lange doorn hebt, moet je de doorn tijdens het aanpassen met kracht verplaatsen.
