Radiator heating represents a universal method of heating that is suitable for almost any space. Radiators heat up quickly and similarly, the heat from them quickly warms up the room. They are simple to install and their use is suitable even on floors, unlike floor heating, as they do not burden the ceilings. On the other hand, the low thermal inertia means that they also cool down quickly, which can be problematic, especially in the case of an unbalanced heating system. Smart control of radiators ensures that heat reaches everywhere it needs to and when it is needed.
Smart heating can also be applied to:
Smart heating is a simple way to optimize the heating system, minimize heat losses and reduce energy costs. Compared to a classic thermostat or heating without control, the savings on heating can reach up to 30%, without changing the temperature in your home or office. It allows full control of heating in homes, apartments, and smaller as well as larger commercial spaces, and contributes to a more sustainable future.
Smart heating systems allow control of individual zones (rooms) individually, allowing you to set different temperatures at different times for each section. This way, you don't unnecessarily heat rooms you don't need. Heating can be controlled from anywhere using your smartphone or tablet. The apps are in Czech and designed to make mobile heating control intuitive and easy.
The implementation of smart radiator heating is wireless, meaning that individual components can be easily installed and, in the case of appliance replacement, disassembled and reassembled. Communication between the components works even in the event of an internet outage, is encrypted, reliable, and secure. Thanks to these features, the system can be expanded at any time with additional smart devices not only in relation to heating.
Smart radiator valves also have additional functions such as a child lock, open window detection and frost protection.
Siemens Connected Home is a home automation ecosystem that is intuitively used, easily combined and installed. It also includes smart radiator heating.
Danfoss Ally is an intelligent system for controlling radiator heating.
Honeywell Evohome is a smart system of zone heating, which includes radiator control.
Smart radiator valves can be used independently without other smart heating control elements, which is especially suitable in the case of district heating. Wifi radiator valves can be controlled individually, for example, by "just" manually setting the temperature directly for each radiator. A more convenient option, ideal for heating control in larger spaces, is connecting the valves with a central unit (router). This allows you to control the entire system zone-wise and at once from a mobile application. Radiators then heat your apartment, house, or commercial spaces only when needed, thereby reducing energy bills. Smart radiator valves thus transform even central heating into smart heating.
