How to Choose the Right Adapter for Radiator Valves?

Thermostatic radiator valves ensure smooth and precise temperature control of radiators. The valves are connected to the radiator valve using a standardized thread, usually an M30x1.5 mm thread. However, not all manufacturers use the same thread and the external dimensions and shapes of the valves can therefore vary, so an adapter may be needed to install thermostatic heads to the valve. The most common manufacturers with a different thread than M30x1.5 mm are Danfoss, Giacomini, Herz, Myjava, Comap, and Coterm. Some manufacturers even produce several types of valves such as Danfoss and Giacomini. Choosing the right adapter ensures the correct functioning of the system, otherwise, it will not be possible to install the valve, or it will not be possible to open/close it with the head. The installation of the adapter is as simple and quick as the installation of the head itself.
