How to Choose the Right Adapter for Radiator Heads?

Thermostatic heads for heating ensure smooth and precise temperature regulation of radiators. The heads are connected to the radiator valve using a standardised thread, usually with an M30x1.5 mm thread. However, not all manufacturers use the same thread, and the external dimensions and shapes of the valves can therefore vary, which is why an adapter may be needed to install thermostatic heads to the valve. The most common manufacturers with a different thread than M30x1.5 mm are Danfoss, Giacomini, Herz, Myjava, Comap, and Coterm. Some manufacturers even produce several types of valves such as Danfoss and Giacomini. By selecting the appropriate adapter, you ensure the proper functioning of the system; otherwise, it will not be possible to install the head, or it will not be possible to open/close the valve with it. The installation of the adapter is as simple and quick as the installation of the head.
